Technical Team and Equipment
The Genetic Variation and Gene Discovery Core technical team includes scientists with extensive training in the generation, analysis and quality control of DNA sequences. The team is dedicated to the success of the researchers and clinicians who seek its services, which are offered at competitive nationwide rates.
The team can typically provide DNA sequencing and genotyping within two business days. All service requests are handled through a secure web site, and results can be downloaded or e-mailed.

- Two Applied Biosystems 3730xl 96 capillary DNA Analyzers
- Illumina Bead Station for array genotyping
- Two TECAN Robotic Workstation used to automate laboratory protocols in 96 and 384 well formats
